Still Looking
Tracie and I will begin round two of house-seeking this afternoon. Round one wasn’t as successful as we hoped. We did see some
cool houses, but they just weren’t what we were looking for. We saw a couple that needed a lot of work, one that could have been so cool (see right), but it needed so much work. The downstairs had hardwood floors were completely covered in vinyl tiles, and the upstairs was covered in ugly carpeting. The place was an absolute tip. But in terms of the kind of a house that we would be looking for it was THE closest.
In the end we decided not to go for it. Way too much work. Please join us in prayer. We are losing hope that we are going to find something in the $140-160,000 price range, with 3 bedrooms. We have an accepted offer on our house, with the closing date set at the end of January, so we would need to find a place by early/mid january, so that our financing will have time to get done.
